Position Overview
As the Social Media Manager, you will oversee our social media strategy, aimed at increasing brand awareness and customer engagement across all platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align our social strategy with Amazon’s mission and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage authentic content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics to understand the impact of social media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the content and design teams to produce high-quality graphics, videos, and other media for campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing, and be ready to adapt strategies based on social media platform changes.
- Build relationships with social media influencers and industry thought leaders to drive collaborative content and partnerships.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the industry.
- Organize print and digital marketing events, such as webinars, live Q&As, and product launches to promote brand initiatives.
- Train and mentor junior team members in social media best practices and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a social media management or digital marketing role.
- Proven experience developing and executing effective social media strategies that engage audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored to different audiences.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
